Are you a gym manager or event promoter wondering how the site works?
Climbing Radar works by tracking the Instagram pages of all the gyms listed on our site.
This means events are added to the site as they are announced on Instagram. We are working on support for gyms to add their own events at their leisure if desired, as well as provide additional information. If this is something you are interested in, please do reach out. This way I can add the features you would find most useful.

Want to add un-announced events?
If you have upcoming events that are not yet fully announced, but you would like them listed, these can also be added by reaching out to me with the details. At the moment, each event links back to your announcement for full details, whether this be an Instagram post or your websites event page. In the event you wish to list something, but do not have an announcement I can link to (i.e. upcoming events further in the future) this is also possible, the event will just be marked that more details will be forthcoming closer to the start date.
I will need the following details:
- Name of event
- Location of event
- Format of event (comp/league/event *)
- Discipline(s) of event (boulder, lead, speed, top-rope)
- Tags (cash, para, youth)
- Start / end date(s)
*Format explanation
We currently classify events into one of three categories.
Comps are traditionally one day (but may be multi-day) events, usually with a fixed start time.
Leagues are a type of competition that run over a longer period, usually without a fixed start time.
Events are climbing related events but don't have a competition component. (i.e. London Climbing Festival)
